Songstress Spice Diana has taken down the “Gwokute Gwobba” remix from her YouTube channel, following mounting pressure from her fans who demanded she cut ties with singer Uncle Chumi.

The remix, which dropped in March, was a collaborative effort between Spice Diana and Uncle Chumi, a reimagining of Chumi’s original viral hit. The video had garnered thousands of views upon its release, but this week, fans noticed it had quietly disappeared from Spice Diana’s channel.

The move comes after an online outcry from fans of the Source Management singer, urging her to delete the video and distance herself from Uncle Chumi. According to her loyal followers, Uncle Chumi has been repeatedly disrespectful and ungrateful, allegedly making degrading remarks about Spice Diana in multiple interviews.

One of the key complaints from fans stems from Uncle Chumi’s claim that she was “forced” into doing the remix by Spice Diana’s longtime manager, Roger Lubega. The accusation left fans disappointed and sparked a wave of criticism aimed at Chumi for what many consider biting the hand that helped elevate her music.

Spice Diana, known for her generosity and support of upcoming artists, responded with disappointment. In previous interviews, she expressed her shock and hurt over Chumi’s behavior, noting that she had opened her home and heart to the budding singer.

“I always welcomed her and showed her love. I didn’t expect this,” Spice said, hinting at her emotional investment in the collaboration.
