Musically speaking, 2018 has been a good year to different male musicians in Uganda except for the death of singer, songwriter and producer Mowzey Radio and as the year ends here we have the List of the top 10 Ugandan musicians 2018.

Musically speaking, Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool has had a good year of course apart from the part when he was pelted with bottles at the Swangz All star concert, he held a succesful music concert at Kololo, released big club bangers like; Want it, Batidemu, Wasibuka wa, Ndi Wuwo, I do ft. Charli and Nina, and many more and on top of all that he won an Afrima award in Ghana.
2. Bobi Wine
When it comes to music, Bobi Wine this year has had only one big banger, and that is his hit song called “Kyarenga” but he has made it onto our top 10 list not because he is a music legend, but because this very song is a unifying anthem, the fact that he sang it in so many different languages in Uganda, it was almost sang by everyone in the country. He also held a very succesful Kyarenga concert at his beach in Busaabala.
3. Eddy Kenzo
Eddie Kenzo, real names Edrisa Musuuza has had a great 2018 when it comes to Music as this is the very same year that he clocked 10 years in the industry every since he started singing in 2008. Kenzo has raised our country’s flag allover the world with his songs counting down in different country, in 2018 he released songs like; Mukomboti, Nanzili, Mbakooye, and so many others.
4. Jose Chameleone
Joseph Mayanja whose stage name is Jose Chameleone has also had a magnificent year, even though he had so many political challenges, the leone island boss managed to dive out and released one of the biggest club anthems including; Champion, Mateeka, Kibooko and many others and also managed to stage up a succesful Saba saba concert.
5. Maurice Kirya
Maurice Kirya might not be so powerful downtown but his music has moved souls in upper town, in 2019 Kirya released some of the biggest songs including an Album, he also released, Nze Ani, one of the bigest gospel songs of the year and also staged up a succesful concert at Kampala Serena Hotel.
6. Fik Fameica
You can’t mention the top musicians in Uganda and leave out Freshbwoy Fik Fameica as he has literary held the whole music industry in his hands ever since the year started to it’s end now. Fik Fameica as usual released big songs like; Tonsukuma, Kwata Bukwasi, Property, Born to win and so many others.
7. Feffe Busi
When it comes to the hip-hop indystry, we can never leave out Feffe Busi as he is ranked among the kings in this country. In the year 2018 Feffe resurrected with many big tunes but the biggest being Who is who which awoke all rappers hence envoking over 30 replies. Feffe Busi is also ranked as the king of freestyle in Uganda.
8. A Pass
You cant mention the top male musicians in Uganda and you leave out the comic and social media GOAT Alexander Bagonza aka A Pass who opened up the year with the biggest club banger dubbed “Dididadada” which lead charts for over 6months. He released a well mastered music album called “African Yayo” and his songs also topped different charts.
9. King Saha
King Saha has been one of the kings of the industry, ever since King Mowzey Radio died, King Saha has been releasing hit on hit starting with the remake of his song, On my way, followed by everyone’s favourite called Biri Biri, Very Well and so many other bangers. His voice has been heard in almost all bedrooms in Uganda.
10. B2C Entertainment
With a lot of handwork, determination and focus, The Boys to Conquer (B2C/0 have really conquered the industry with breathtaking hit songs, even though they ended the year with contravention news of breaking up with their manager, the boys were one of the hottest in the industry in 2018. They released hit songs like; No You No Life, Heart of a winner, Byakyuuka, Ntwale Ani and their biggest Songea.
