Closed on 14th December, 2016 after failing to repay a 7billion tax debt, rumor has now started going around that WBS Television is coming back on air.
Three years down the road after ceasing operations as a public broadcaster, Uganda's Wavah Broadcasting Services is coming back big and better according to the latest reports on the Blizz news desk.
The former Naguru based media house closed business in December 2016 after failure to repay a shs7billion tax debt. Recently, the former staff of the defunct TV station had a reunion party and it is reported that normal programing is set to start off in January 2020.
Besides being in advanced stages of making a big come back in the TV industry, tycoon Gordon Wavamunno is also setting up a museum where revelers will be able to find almost every equipment that WBS TV used when it first went on air; studio equipment, cameras, office furniture, the accolades among others.
The museum also has a collection of things about the main man Wavamunno himself; his journey in business, culture and family at large.
