Ugandan orphan children dance group, Masaka Kids Africana are get to fly out to Instanbul Turkey for a live performance and showcasing of their talent.
Masaka Kids Africana is a children dance group that has earned its name well in the past few years with viral dance videos and locally made music that has been able to cross globally.
The group retrieved its name from a town in southern Uganda, Masaka and their dance moves have attracted the attention of the entire world with local dance videos that were posted on social media platforms especially YouTube.
The story behind the formation of this group began with a house that was built with an initiative of a local citizen in the area of Masaka, which then became a new chapter in the lives of these orphans. Later on, these kids, with help from the local residents of their region founded a dance group.
The dance video of these children with Karina Palmira who is a professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor was viewed over 28 million times on YouTube. Osman MuzafferAfyon, a traveler from Turkey who met these children during his trip to Uganda, told the Anadolu Agency that he had arranged an event which was scheduled for this dance group in Turkey.
