The weekend was eventful with mostly festivals that happened on the different corners of Kampala. But as it stands, the biggest and well attended was 'Nsenene Ku Beat' that took place at Naguru Garden Hilltop.
And to the surprise of many, the event was covered by a team from BBC who believed and had a great experience on set making Nsenene Ku Beat memorable for the hundreds of revelers that turned up.
The event which started on the low with rain trying to disrupt later gained oomph when it stopped raining and youthful revellers started storming the grounds to enjoy different kinds and delicacies of Nsenene (Grasshoppers).
Like the name of the event suggested, revellers enjoyed different kinds of Nsenene as they jam to music played by DJs and performed by the artistes.
Revellers were seen playing cards and others resorting to face painting as they waited for performances to kick off.
There were performances from Rapper Fresh Kid, Singer Jowy Landa, Soul Sister, Crysto Panda, Ring Rapper, Ibrah Buwembo and lots more. The show that was hosted by comedians Collins Emeka and Optional Allan.
The first edition of the Nsenene Ku Beat attracted a good crowd and the organisers promised better in the subsequent editions.
