UCU Canons proceed to finals after beating Power Basketball Club

UCU Canons have made it to the Uganda Basketball League Finals for the second time after defeating Betway Power Basketball Club 73 to 69 in the match that was played at the MTN Basketball Arena, Lugogo.

The Canons managed come from one game down to win with  an overall 3-1 games in the Semi final 5 game series, getting to the finals for the second time after their finals debut in 2015 where they lost to City Oilers.

UCU’s Chuma Fadhili was the Player of the game after scoring 19 points with 12 Rebs and 2 assists walking away with UGX 100,000.

They will play the final with the team that will emerge winners of the second semi finals series between City Oilers Basketball Club Warriors Basketball Club. 3 games have been played so far and Oilers are leading with 2 games to 1.
