Comedy Store CEO Alex Muhangi has joined the music industry after releasing his first a club banger titled Entogo.
Entogo which translates into a stew (akatogo) was produced by Nessim and is currently being played by his fans all over the country. The song features 24/7 dance crew dancing in the dance video that has been released.
The song appreciates and celebrates the power of Akatogo a local Ugandan food as the singer explains the abundance of Entogo in all varieties which is hot and ready to be eaten.
In the song that is in 3 languages Runyankore, Luganda and English, the singer tells how there is Katogo with G-nuts, Katogo with bowels, Katogo with beans and etc.
Whereas some fans are appreciating the fun and creativity within the song, others were busy criticizing him advising him to remain in his comedy where he can do better and stop gambling with music. One fan went ahead to compare him to ‘Fresh Daddy’ a father of a young rapper Fresh Dad.
Alex Muhangi is not the first comedian to enter into comedy-music. The first was Amooti Omubalanguzi who released songs that include Mpa Amaazi, Olusidiku and many others plus comedienne Anne Kansiime who released Mparo.
