City businessman and events promoter Balaam Barugahara could lose a USD 5 Million-Dollar investment in South Sudan over impunity of nationals in the World’s Youngest nation.
Promoter Balaam alleges that a one Fatmah Ramadan leased him about 9928 square meters of Land for investments in the capital, Juba for 25 years but 7 years into the agreement the landlady has allegedly connived with a section of top security officers in Juba to grab the investment at the nozzle of a gun.
Balaam Barugahara held a presser yesterday at his Radio4 offices in Ntinda to reveal what he termed as a clear strategy to reap him off of his billions that he had invested in the neighboring country.
Balaam went on to say that his brother, Andrew, who has been managing his Sudan based investments was whisked off to some place by unknown people and him (Balaam) cannot go to the country as he fears for his life.
Some of the investments he stands to lose are a building with at least three floors which doubles as his headquarters for his Radio One 87.9FM station, the building has tenants too.
