Upcoming singer Salongo Siraje has opened up about a shocking incident where a fan slapped him in the face for arriving late at a performance in Lugazi, he even gave him his reasons.
During an interview on Spark TV, the Nalu Nalu hitmaker revealed that the incident happened when he was booked for a show but failed to appear on time.
"One time, I remember a fan approaching me at a show where I had been booked to perform in Lugazi. I thought he was coming to show me love, but instead, I received a hot slap from him because I arrived a bit late," Salongo Siraje recounted.
He explained that he was expected to perform before midnight, but by the time he arrived, it was already past midnight, leading to frustration among the audience.
Following the embarrassing encounter, Salongo Siraje took action to avoid such altercations in the future.
He revealed that he has since established a security gang, known as "Eggali," to protect him from potential threats during performances.
"Such an incident can’t happen to me again because I now have an established team that protects me," he confidently stated.
