Legendary Ugandan musician, Dr. Jose Chameleone has today been rushed to Nakasero Hospital where he was immediately admitted under circumstances that have sparked widespread concern among fans and well-wishers over his health.
A video circulating online shows the singer being escorted into the hospital by his manager, Mutima. Chameleone appeared visibly frail, raising alarm about his health among the public.
This is not the first time the celebrated artist’s health has been a topic of concern. In 2023, Chameleone was bedridden for several weeks due to an undisclosed illness. Although he recovered and returned to his music and public appearances, his recent admission has renewed fears about his well-being.
Fans across Uganda have flooded social media with messages of support and prayers for Chameleone, urging him to stay strong and recover soon. The family and management are yet to release an official statement regarding his condition.
