Former Lugambo presenter, gospel singer Gabriella Bridgette aka Gabie Ntaate has finally opened up with the truth and set the record straight about rumors of her being pregnant and in hiding since her music concert as social media has been speculating, the truth her left many worried about her future.
The singer has quickly dispelled these rumors with a heartfelt message on social media as she took to her platforms to clarify that her changing physical appearance is not due to pregnancy but rather a result of a thyroid disease she has been battling. This condition can cause significant shifts in body weight and other serious symptoms, which might explain the confusion.
In her candid post, Gabie shared, “I’m not pregnant, and it is okay to be. Kids are beautiful. I have Thyroid disease. When you have walked a mile in that illness and survived it, or if you have seen a relative fight for their life with it, between a bulging body or a shrinking one, heart disease, hyper and hypotension, tremors, breathlessness, and worse, then get back into my womb. For now, stay out of my womb!”
She also took the opportunity to address the importance of empathy and accuracy, urging the public to refrain from spreading misinformation. “If you don’t know something for sure, don’t talk about it. People have silent battles under brave faces,” Gabie advised.
Wrapping up her message on a hopeful note, Gabie reminded her followers of her faith: “Let’s not forget, JESUS IS A HEALER. Praying for everyone with a battle they tell no one about.”
With her heartfelt words, Gabie not only clears the air but also encourages a more compassionate approach to understanding the struggles others may face.
