Last Sunday, the Corporate League at Makerere University Grounds was a spectacle of unexpected twists and turns. With teams like Post Bank, Equity Bank, UCDA, and Adris Digital Africa in the mix, many anticipated predictable outcomes. However, Urban Refreshments, a newcomer and perceived underdog, took everyone by surprise.

Entering the games with modest expectations, Urban Refreshments defied the odds, showcasing impressive confidence and teamwork. Despite not winning every match, their players consistently bagged the Man of the Match awards, earning admiration from spectators. Their standout moment was a hard-fought goalless draw against the seasoned Marketing Communications Giants, Adris Digital Africa, a match many thought they would lose.

Urban Refreshments' flair and spirit made them the most entertaining team of the day. Their performance was a testament to their dedication and unity, as highlighted by their Team Manager, Cathy Nakisige.
