A video clip showing singer Rema Namakula with a protruding stomach went viral raising happiness among her fans that she is pregnant, she has now spoken out and said if they chew her, why wouldn't she get pregnant.

A few weeks ago, a video showing Rema Namakula in Muslim wear with a bulged tummy made rounds on social media sparking off speculations that she could be pregnant.

While speaking in an interview, Rema wondered why people would be surprised that she is pregnant yet she is an active married woman.

Insha Allah. I told you that giving birth is the only task I am left with plus loving my family and husband. I am a married woman and very active so you cannot be surprised that I am pregnant."- Rema Namakula

When asked about the rumors circulating concerning a possible wedding celebration with Dr. Hamza Sebunya, Rema noted that they held the wedding when they did a Nikkah (Muslim marriage).

Now fans can be rest assured that once she gives birth, it will be for the goodness of her marriage.
