During a vigil held in memory of the late musician Adam Mulwana, a bittr fight broke out between events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, aka Abitex Promotions, and veteran artist Hajji Haruna Mubiru over H&M restaurant shares.
The star-studded gathering of arts enthusiasts had assembled to pay their respects to Mulwana and celebrate his musical legacy. However, the night took an unexpected twist when Abitex unleashed a verbal assault on Mubiru, accusing him of spearheading the collection of condolence fees while neglecting the departed artist during his lifetime.
Sources claim that Mubiru, unable to weather the onslaught of accusations, swiftly retaliated with a barrage of insults. The heated exchange threatened to escalate until the timely intervention of veteran musician Mesach Semakula, who played the role of peacemaker and restored tranquility to the event.
As the dust settles on this unexpected clash, the focus now shifts to the final farewell for Adam Mulwana. The talented musician, who breathed his last at Doctor's Hospital in Seguku yesterday morning, will be laid to rest today in Luweero.
