Asuspect has been arrested in connection to the brutal murder of 26-year-old Kenyan socialite Starlet Wahu Mwangi, the younger sister of a controversial evangelical Pastor Kanyari who was tragically murdered in an Airbnb located in South B, Nairobi., the story is heartbreaking.

Wahu's lifeless body was discovered in the rented accommodation on January 4, revealing a gruesome crime scene that investigators are meticulously piecing together. The victim and the alleged murderer were captured on surveillance entering the Airbnb on the night of January 3.

The postmortem examination unveiled distressing details, indicating that Wahu was strangled and suffered a deep cut wound on her thigh, severing a crucial vein. The loss of a significant amount of blood was cited as the cause of her untimely demise.

A vigilant apartment guard played a crucial role in bringing the crime to light.

Witnessing the suspect leaving the premises with blood-stained clothes the following day, the guard promptly alerted the homeowner.

Upon gaining access, the owner was met with a scene of chaos, discovering Wahu's lifeless body in the living room, suggesting a fierce struggle had taken place.

Law enforcement responded to the incident, recovering a knife, two HIV test kits, and a used condom from the scene. Makadara police boss Judith Nyongesa revealed that the assailant had managed to escape, but not for long.

The suspect sought medical attention at a city hospital, where he was subsequently arrested while claiming self-defense as he informed the police that Wahu had attacked him, leading to a fatal altercation.
