Days after seasoned journalist and senior reporter Joseph Sabiti (formerly an employee of Next media's) NBS TV and NXT Radio quit his darling place of employment, it is reported that he will be taking over the communication department at Action Aid Uganda.
After tendering his resignation letter, Sabiiti has for the past weeks been off the screens waiting for a reply from his bosses after all he wanted to move on and join a yet to be identified NGO that had already handed him a juicy offer.
Despite the endless efforts by the Kamwokya based station CEO, Kin Karisa to invite the later to a round table, it all turned out to be futile as Sabiti chose to move on with Action Aid Uganda.
Joseph Sabiiti over the weekend bid farewell to his colleagues at Next Media Services shortly after hosting his last “Big Talk” edition on NXT Radio.
“Good afternoon, I will be taking a break from active Journalism for a while. Thank you for the amazing four years at Media Plaza, it has been every inch worth it and Next Media will always remain home,” Read Joseph Sabiiti's farewell to his colleagues.
Sabiiti's departure adds to the exodus of workers that have recently dumped NBS TV for greener pastures mention Sheila Tusiime Mugisha and Innocent Nabaasa from the newsroom not forgetting the former popular One on One with Tamale Mirundi show host Simon Muyanga Lutaaya.
