MP Shamim Malende Steadily Recovering from Health Complications

The latest news coming in on the Blizz news desk from Nairobi Hospital in Kenya indicates how Kampala Woman Member of Parliament, Hon Shamim Malende is steadily recovering from health complications.

The opposition National Unity Platform, NUP Party lawyer was flown to Nairobi a week ago for treatment on orders of the Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among.

The legislator was first admitted to the Uganda Martyr's Hospital, Rubaga after collapsing from her home in Kawempe.

The NUP Party Principal, Hon Kyagulanyi Sentamu Robert who has visited the sickly patient in Kenya on Tuesday morning has revealed the good news through his socials how their colleague is steadily responding to specialised medical treatment.

Bobi Wine has however urged Ugandans to continue praying for Hon Malende so as to attain a quick and full recovery.

"This morning, I went to Nairobi to check on our sister and comrade, Hon. Shamim Malende. The medical team has assured me that she is making good progress, although she still feels weak. She appreciates all of you for your concern. Let's continue praying for her quick and full recovery."- Bobi Wine
