Veteran singer Gerald Kiweewa has threatened to dragged struggling singer Record Elah Butida to behind police bars for re-mixing his songs without his permission.
According to Gerald Kiweewa, he threatens that Butidah redid classic old song “Akameeme” and has vowed to drag Record Elah to the police through his lawyers over copyright infringements.
"I am going to imprison him for redoing my songs without permission. I am going to instruct my lawyers to do investigations for redoing the “Akameme Kajula” song."- he said.
Gerald Kiweewa further threatened how he won’t be a part of the team that is likely to arrest Record Elah Butida as he claimed that he sold the copyright to his songs to a certain limited company.
