Singer Spice Diana says the government should design uniforms in form of sports wears for artistes so as to be able to perform in schools.
This follows the Ministry of Education and Sports directive to temporarily ban live music concerts in schools until notice over indecency and erotic dances of local entertainers.
Dr. Jane Egau Okou, The acting Permanent Secretary for the ministry said until they put in place the necessary guidelines, musicians can not step into schools.
Despite not being a regular performer in schools, the 'Boss' singer has condemned the move by the ministry saying it is fighting musicians indirectly and leisure of students.
“Though I take long to have performances in schools due to the low amounts of money offered to me for booking, we would love to still perform for the kids. A kid to revise books Monday to Sunday, January to December is indeed hectic. But I pray that the government designs for us uniforms in form of sports wears so that artistes can wear them and hit back to schools," Spice Diana states during an exclusive interview .
