Player Exodus Continues at Express FC Ahead Of New Season

Express FC has said bye to six of its senior players that helped the side win the 2020/21 UGANDA Premier League and the Kagame Club champions the same season.

Following the departure of Wasswa Bbosa who joined Gadafi FC, rumor has had it that many of Express FC players will join the gaffer at his new destination and among the pointed out names have been let to go by the club.

The six players the club has let to go include midfielder Godfrey Lwesibawa, Mustafa Kiraga, Mahad Yahaya Kakooza, goalkeeper Crispus Kusiima,John Buamukama and left Sadiq Ssekiyembe.

A day before the announcement, Express FC announced the renewal of contracts of Daniel Shabena and Joseph Musoke who returned from his loan spell at Proline.

It remains to be seen how the new gaffer James Odoch will replace the departed players whose experience has seen the side win the Uganda Premier League recently in 2021.

Express FC finished sixth last season and will be looking to improving their performance in the coming season set to kick off on 30th September, 2022.
