Uganda Premier League champions for the season 2021/2022 Vipers SC have been drawn against Mbarara City FC in the semi final draws of Uganda Cup that were conducted at FUFA complex in Mengo.
Vipers are looking to winning a double having already clinched the championship of the Uganda Premier League title, a feat they achieved with four league matches to end the season.
Vipers are the defending champions of the Uganda Cup, a title they won in the last edition having walloped Bul FC with an 8:1 record score line at FUFA technical stadium on 8th January 2022.
In the other draw, last edition’s runners up Bul FC were drawn against Booma FC. This year’s edition will have the semi finals played on a home and away basis between 10th and 19th May 2022.
To many, it is more probable that a replica of last season’s final between Vipers and Bul FC can be witnessed.
