With only pride left to play for after Vipers SC were recently declared Uganda Premier League champions, KCCA FC beat Bright Stars 1:0 at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo. Promising youngster Ibrahim Juma scored the match’s only goal on his home senior debut.
The win took KCCA FC to 53 points and remain second on the table with three matches left to end the season of 30 matches.
In Arua, this season’s champions Vipers SC were 2:0 winners away to Onduparaka FC. Ceaser Manzoki was named man of the match after scoring one goal and assisted Milton Karisa’s goal. Manzoki’s was a superb header off a well laid ball by former Mbarara City FC play Hilary Mukundane.
Uganda Premier League action resumes on Friday 6th May 2022 with two fixtures, an Arua derby between Arua Hill SC and Onduparaka FC whilst Gaddafi FC will entertain Tooro United.
