Last year’s tournament runners up Bul FC cruised to the the semi finals with a 2:1 win over 2015 champions SC Villa at Njeru technical stadium.
Despite playing close to 60 minutes with a man less, Bul FC had to come from behind to win 2:1 courtesy of goals from Karim Nduggwa (34) and Ibrahim Nsimbe’s extra time winner in the 105th minute.
SC Villa, conquerors of Onduparaka and Express in the last two hurdles went ahead in the 15th minute through Sadam Masereka but Ndugwa levelled for the jinja side. George Kasonko was red carded in the 68th minute to leave the oil makers ten players on the pitch for the rest the minutes played.
Bul FC joined their last season’s finals tormentors Vipers in semi finals,Booma fc who ejected Maroons with a 2:1 score and only one other quarter finals remains to be be settled between Mbarara City and Mbale Heroes.
The match will be played on Wednesday 27th April 2022 at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
