Uganda Cup defending champions SC Vipers cruised into the semi finals of this year’s tournament with a comprehensive 3:1 win over home side Wakiso Giants FC.
Bobosi Byaruhanga scored the match’s first goal and also his first of the tournament with Yunus Ssentamu scoring twice to send the defending champions in the semi finals. Hassan Ssenyonjo scored the consolation for the “Purple Sharks “.

They join Boma FC who ejected Maroons and the two can be joined in the semi finals by either SC Villa or Bul FC who face off in the other quarter finals today Monday 25th April 2022 at FUFA Technical Center Njeru.
Vipers SC are vying for a third Uganda Cup title following victories in 2016 against Onduparaka and a record thrashing of Bul FC last season with 8:2 score.
