Kampala Metropolitan Police together with Nansana Division authorities have finally identified the dead body that was stuffed in a sack and intercepted while being transported by Nabasa Gideon, a 31-year-old private security guard for Afrisafe guards.
Nabasa was caught on Sunday at 4 a.m and the body he was carrying was that of Kagezi Amon, a resident of Kijangi village in Hoima district.
According to police spokesperson Fred Enanga, the deceased had hired a motorcycle with registration number, UFG 635P on March 7, 2202. from Owakukikoru Denis, a businessman from Kijangi village. He paid him Shs10,000 for a self-drive to Buseruka town on private business.
He however disappeared with the motorcycle and joined Nabasa Gideon and Twinamasiko Ivan at Katogo zone in Bwaise.
“It is unfortunate that the deceased was murdered at the home of the two suspects in Bwaise.
Afterward, Nabasa Gideon removed the deceased’s clothing and stuffed the body of Kagezi Amon, in a sack, “ Enanga said.
