Three key members of the Namuyomba Comedy Group—DJ Sserudigo (Sserunkuma Ibrahim), Ephrahim Ssonko, and Frank—have officially quit with the Social Media comedy group over money, manager Amujadi Arts has spoken out.

DJ Sserudigo, a fan favorite known for his hilarious mimicry of deejaying, was a standout face of the group. His creative input, alongside Ephrahim and Frank, played a pivotal role in elevating Namuyomba’s popularity across social media and live shows.

Despite their success, cracks began to show a few weeks ago when the trio reportedly clashed with the group’s leader Amujadi over unresolved grievances. Dissatisfied, they chose to step away, leaving fans speculating about their absence from recent group videos.

Speaking to Amujadi, Blizz Uganda was told that these three deserters decided to sign a contract with a new partner to manage them with the help of their parents hence voiding the contract he had with them.

Trying to solve the matter, he called them for a meeting and to his shock, they all denied ever knowing him or even signing any contract with him, so he just let them go.

A New Chapter Begins
The trio has since revealed that they have founded their own comedy group, Mugaward Family Comedy, signaling the start of a new chapter in their creative careers.

Their departure was confirmed by the Namuyomba group leader Amujadi, who disclosed that the three had "put down their working tools." However, DJ Sserudigo, Ephrahim, and Frank painted a different picture, citing financial inequities as their primary reason for leaving.

"For the time we spent with Namuyomba, we were working for food," they claimed, expressing frustration that despite the group amassing substantial earnings from booked shows.
