Former Galaxy FM and Spark TV presenter Ssendi Mosh, aka Mr Mosh has finally been released from Kitalya prison where had spent over 2 weeks over illegal demonstrations, he has been released but promised never to give up.

Through his social media, Mosh rushed to put up a post upon his release from prison.

Mr Mosh and other Lord Counciliors where arreseted few weeks back and taken to Kitalya prison for staging strike in Kampala standing with Vendors who were being vacated from streets by KCCA.

Below is his post;

“I found 1000s of Ugandan youths in Kitalya prison (largely vendors trying to earn a living in a sh*tty economy) sleeping and eating like freakin’ pigs in their own country.

While those that would’ve created for them proper working conditions choose to imprison whoever challenges their crappy economic shytstem. We shall not rest until every Ugandan is treated equally. If New York & Dubai have regulated street trade, what’s so special about Kampala?

We are a city with only one very old ambulance, can’t collect even 20% of garbage, can’t even recycle it, have limping health centres, grave-like roads, underfunded public schools, poor lighting but ya’ll think beating and stealing from poor vendors can make Kampala turn into Brussels?

We give foreigners tax holidays, free land and citizenship but force Ugandans into slavery abroad and crime.” he posted.
