Jinja-Njeru based Ugandan singer, Asiimwe Innocent aka Napoleon of ‘More Money’ hit song has been announced dead after years of disappearing from the scene, sad news has been confirmed.
Napoleon started his music journey way back in 1999 in Jinja. Due to his talent, he came to Kampala, met Steve Jean – who was by then the best producer in the country and crafted ‘More Money’.
Napoleon became a star residing in one of the famous Buganda Road flats where Steve had his base, being cruised in Celica rides.
However, due to his love for alcohol and unbranded cigarettes, the no nonsense Steve Jean kicked him out. His troubles started and had to relocate back to Jinja.
