The Uganda Dance Nights just proved that dance is a whole vibe! The debut event, held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall, was filled with love and passion for Latin ballroom together with Uganda’s rich culture as Ugandans showed up and showed out for this one!
The sold-out night kicked off in pure elegance, with guests gracing the red carpet while the Janzi Band set the mood with their electrifying performances.
The lineup was stacked with big names like Allan Kutos, Anne Kansiime, Rachael Magoola, Sam Bagenda, Donlynn Fischer, and Marius Iepure—each adding their own touch to the unforgettable experience.
The man of the hour, Valentino, couldn’t hide his excitement. “Tonight has been a game-changer.
We’ve proved that dance is a universal language that connects people beyond borders. This is just the start of something bigger. Ugandan dancers can host massive events and leave a mark,” he said.
But Uganda Dance Nights wasn’t just about dazzling performances—it had a powerful message behind it.
The event raised awareness for children with Down syndrome, promoting inclusivity and showing how dance can be a force for good. The Ghetto Kids brought their signature energy, reminding everyone that talent knows no limits.
With major players like Talent Africa Group, ValRich Arts, the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Kakira, and Safe Boda backing the event, Uganda Dance Nights proved that dance can thrive in the entertainment industry.
The night wrapped up with guests leaving inspired, knowing they had just witnessed history in the making. If this was just the first edition, we can’t wait to see what’s next!
