Vipers and Mbarara City Come from Behind to Win against Busoga United and Onduparaka Respectively

The two sides that is Vipers SC and Mbarara City FC had to come from behind to win their matches as match day 10 went under way on Saturday at Kyabazinga Stadium Bugembe Jinja.

Busoga United went ahead as early as in the 2nd minute when Anwar Mustafa Ntege scored from the penalty spot after Livingston Mulondo handled in the forbidden area.

Vipers however reacted instantly twelve minutes later through Yunus Ssentamu, Ibrahim Orit scored the second in the 14th minute to ensure the Venoms finished half time with a 2:1 lead.

On resumption of the second half, Ceaser Manzoki scored the third with the fourth coming in the 60th minute through Aziz Kayondo.

The win meant Vipers SC second on the table keeps pressure on table leaders KCCA FC who are six points ahead but with a match more than the Robertinho coached team.

Elsewhere in Kakyeka, Mbarara City FC had to come from two goals down to win 3:2 against Arua side Onduparaka. Ahmed Amayo 30' and Mohammed Shaban 43' gave Onduparaka a half time 2:0 lead.

In the second half, Mbarara City scored from the 12-yard spot through Solomon Okwalinga at an hour mark to halve Onduparaka's lead before Arigumaho seiri gave the 'Ankole Lions' parity at 75 minutes time. It was Hillary Mukundane who scored the winning goal for Hussein Mbalangu's side with five minutes to play for.

The win left Mbarara City 9th on the table with 13 points and Onduparaka 11th with 10 points after match day ten.

In another much anticipated clash, URA FC hosting Express FC at Ndejje University's Arena of Visions playground, the two sides played a barren stalemate whereas Wakiso Giants were 1:0 winners against UPDF FC, thanks to a goal by Titus Ssematimba.
