Black Market Records has officially terminated its managerial contract with Ugandan rapper Derrick Katongole alias Victor Kamenyo, Blizz Uganda has learned.
The development comes following a growing rift between the US based music record label and Ugandan artists as far as promoting and managing their music works.
According to a press release dated October 11, p2021, that was signed by BMR's General Manager Kisame Shadrack, the Sacramento based music record label terminated the "Siyina Malala" singer’s contract with immediate effect over reasons yet to be ascertained by the Blizz sources.
In the press release, Black Market Records clearly stated how it had ended its relations with Victor Kamenyo and hence there will be no more operations between the label and the artist.
Victor Kamenyo's fallout with BMR follows the exit of the label's previous artists mention the likes of Nina Roz and Bruno K who way back pinned the management of BMR of breaching the contracts.
