FUFA Releases Program For World Cup Qualifiers

The first on FUFA's programme for the World Cup qualifiers is the summoning of both local and foreign based Uganda Cranes players to go into a camp as confirmed by Head Coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic who starts his second stint this Friday.

Micho summoned a 30 man provisional squad to prepare for the first World Cup Qualifiers match against Kenya next Month.

The team enters residential camp tomorrow Saturday 14th August,2021 at Cranes Paradise Hotel after undergoing COVID-19 tests before starting training on Monday, 16th August 2021 at a Venue that will soon be communicated.

On Saturday, 21st August 2021, the team will depart for foreign training camp in Arman-Jordan where they will play two build up games against Syria on 23rd and 26th August, 2021.

After the matches, Uganda Cranes team will depart for Ethiopia on Friday, 27th August 2021 for another friendly match against the country on Sunday, 29th August 2021.

In Ethiopia, they will be joined by most foreign based players as the friendly will be the last and hence head for a clash against Kenya in the world cup qualifiers.

From the friendly against Ethiopia, Uganda Cranes will on Tuesday, 31st August 2021 head to Nairobi, Kenya for the world cup qualifiers match 'The Harambe Stars' on Thursday, 2nd September 2021 at Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi.
