Mbarara City FC has made a press release in which it indicated five players who they have allowed to negotiate a transfer away to any clubs of their choice.
The club named five players who included striker Bashir Mutanda- the striker scored five goals last season, Salim Huud, Opio Jackson,winger Adriko John and striker Chato Bamba Siaka.
The club said all the mentioned players are free to negotiate transfer deals with any of the club's of their choice. Part of Mbarara City FC statement read...
"Mbarara-Uganda-Friday 30th July,2021, Mbarara City FC has granted permission to the following players to negotiate a transfer away to any other clubs on their choice
1.Adriko John
2.Mutanda Bashir.
3.Salim Huud.
4.Opio Jackson
5.Chato Bamba Siaka
The club statement continued to note.... "The club is still in talks to renew contracts of players that expired and negotiating personal terms with other players whom we hope to join the team as we strengthen our squad for the upcoming season 2021/2022. "
Mbarara City finished 8th last season with 38 points gathered from 10 wins, 8 draws and 9 losses and are in preparationns for the new season.
