After his succesful 'I Dono Nokudono' song, singer Buka Chimey is back with another banger called "Economy Togilaba / Tojilaba" through which he asks everyone to be considerate through his comic lyrics.
Economy Togilaba currently must be one of the most realistic songs in Uganda with its hitting lyrics focusing more on the still ongoing long 42 days lockdown.
Economy Tojilaba (meaning; aren’t you seeing the hard economic situation) is a song specifically pointing at the negative effects the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to Uganda and Ugandans at large. In the song, he calls on the government to come to the rescue as he asks, government weyayu?
Buka Chimey continues to say that getting something to eat one has to first use binoculars, also getting help from neighbor you end up getting insults. Those that curse others because they can not bail them out of hard situations, he asks the aren’t they seeing how the economy is hard?
Economy Togilaba comes in a time where Ugandans are stuck in their houses pondering on the next moves especially on how to get a safe survival.
The song was produced by Brian Beats of Beats House Makindye and written by top songwriter Mozy Wryta.
