Henry Kabiito, father to Swangz Avenue's Winfred Nakanwagi aka Winnie Nwagi has cried out to President Museveni to let transporters work or else they are likely to die of hunger.

President Museveni on Sunday suspended schools and communal/religious gatherings for 42 days starting June 7, 2021 in a bid to contain the spread of coronavirus after Ministry of health report indicated that there’s an exponential surge in cases and community infections.

The president also banned public transport between districts starting June 10, 2021 to allow students who are still in school return home.

Now Mr Kabiito who is under the transporting industry operating as a taxi driver on Masaka stage in Kampala city believes the Fountain of Honour should have waved off some pandemic restrictions mention letting passengers travel mention those who have already gotten their Covid-19 jabs so as too to keep in the business.

Mr Kabiito says the fact that the cabinet ministers aren't yet in office, they have found it difficult to put their views across the president for utmost consideration since they are likely to die of hunger in the pending pandemic total lockdown.
