Apart from the bodyguard who was killed in General Katumba Wamala car, there was also his daughter Brenda Nantongo who was Katumba's daughter and this is whom almost everyone is concetrating on. But who was Brenda?
These two perished in this morning's shooting as their car was sprayed with live 7 bullets killing her and the driver instantly. The General survived with injuries.
Gen. Katumba Wamala has been an Uganda Chief of Defense Forces (CDF), and Transport Minister for years. He was shot in Kiasasi on Tuesday morning.
His daughter, Brenda Nantongo and their driver Haruna Kayondo have been confirmed dead in an assassination attempt on the General’s life. The car was shot seven times.

It is reported that the shooting happened in Kisota —Kisaasi, a Kampala suburb on Tuesday morning.
Brenda was last seen in public just few days ago when she had escorted her father to take oath as a UPDF representative in the 11th Parliament.

Joyce Nantogo, an inlaw to Gen Katumba Wamala spoke about Brenda Wamala who was shot dead.
"She was a good girl a well-behaved girl who decided to stay at home until she gets married."- she said.
