Court martial once again sent back two key members of the National Unity Platform to Kitalya prison, Eddy Ssebuufu, commonly known as Eddie Mutwe and Ali Buken, known by stage name Nubian Li after being denied bail.

The Military court granted bail to 17 other NUP supporters who were all arrested in Kalangala last year as Kyagulanyi took his Presidential campaigns to the area.

The group which had 48 people was first paraded before the Masaka high court where they were granted bail but later paraded before the court martial on grounds that they possessed ammunition a preserve of the Defense forces.

The 17 who were granted bail according to prosecution were seriously ill and needed immediate medical attention outside prison.

Nubian Li and others who were denied bail are expected to appear in the court again on June 8th as prosecution completes scrutiny of their affidavits.
