Express FC Maintains Table Summit with Win Against Kitara, Kitara Gets elagated.

Match day 26 witnessed three matches, great amongst them was a clash between Express FC and Kitara FC. The former beat the latter 4:0 to ensure they keep at the table summit whereas the latter confirmed relagation.

Express FC who are looking for a seventh title and the first since 2012 maintained table summit with Goals from Eric Kambale (brace) and a goal apiece from Arthur Kigundu and Frank Kalanda.

Kitara FC were relagated after their 19th loss of the season (the most of any other side) left them on 13 points, 13 adrift of safety with only four matches to go.

Express FC remain glued at the table summit with 58 points .

Vipers also maintained their title Chase with a slim 1:0 win against a solid Soltilo Bright Stars side. The loss by Bright Stars ended their ten match unbeaten run that included wins against Mbarara City, Express FC, KCCA FC, Wakiso Giants and a draw against URA and SC Villa.

Bobosi Byaruhanga was named man of the match and hence walked home with UGX 100,000/-.

Wakiso Giants also maintained their recent good form with a 2:1 win against MYDA FC. Vianney Ssekajugo and Kipson Atuhaire scored for the "Purple Sharks" whereas Eric Mutebi pulled one for the relagation bound MYDA. Alex Komakech was named man of the match.

Action resumes on Saturday with BUL FC taking on Onduparaka,Villa hosting Kyetume and Police visiting Mbarara City FC. Two matches will be staged on Sunday as match day 26 will be ending, URA will take on UPDF and KCCA FC will hosting Busoga United.
