Stanbic Uganda Cup: Vipers SC Beats UPDF FC 3:1 as URA FC Loses 2:1 to Express FC

The Stanbic Uganda Cup last 16 round has seen Vipers SC visit and beat UPDF 3:1 in a match played at Bombo Military Barracks Grounds. UPDF's Joseph Vuni's scored an own goal in the 64th minute, Ibrahim Orit scored the second two minutes later before Ceaser Manzoki scored last minute goal to seal a well deserved win for the Venoms.

Brian Kayanja had given the soldiers an 11th minute lead but the pressure poised by Vipers in the second half was much for the soldiers to withstand.

Vipers will return into action on Tuesday 5th May,2021 with much hopes of progressing to the next round given an impressive first round win.

At Betway Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku, Express FC beat visitors URA 2:1. Martin Kiiza and Kambale Eric were on target for the Red Eagles with Ibrahim Dada pulling one on which the tax collectors' hopes for progressing to the last eight round rely.

Vipers SC hosts UPDF at St. Mary's Stadium on Tuesday,4th May,2021 and a draw will be enough for them to progress. UPDF FC will need atl least a 2:0 win to progress to the quarter finals.

SC Villa visited and beaten Onduparaka FC 1:0 courtesy of an 87th minute Faizo Kazibwe goal. Villa hosts Onduparaka FC on Tuesday 4th May,2021.

The first leg of the last sixteen of the Stanbic Uganda Cup continues on Sunday 2nd May,2021 with Police FC hosting Bright Stars at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
