Stella Nyanzi Returns Back Home from Exile After Months

Human rights defender, activist and academic Dr. Stella Nyanzi has returned back home from exile in Kenya in the wee hours of Thursday morning.

President Museveni’s critic fled to Kenya soon after the January general election to seek for political asylum in Kenya.

Nyanzi, who stood under the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) ticket for the Kampala Women MP race and came third fled Uganda in February with her three teenage children- a daughter and two twin sons after her partner, David Musiri, was allegedly abducted and tortured by security personnel a week after the 2021 general election in January.

While in Kenya, the motor mouthed activist has been living a lonely life with her dog where she has been basing to hurl insults at the National Unity Platform, NUP Party Principal and the People Power Movement at large.

In company of her family, Dr. Stella Nyanzi stepped back into her motherland and through her socials, she has expressed her delight of enjoying the amazing hospitality in Kenya ever since she quit the madding crowd back in Uganda thereby indicating all in all how she is happy to be back home.
