Ugandan actor, Radio and NBS TV presenter Gaetano Juuko Kaggwa has opened up about his readiness to sue NTV Uganda for showing his face on TV among the arrested drunkards. Here he explains what went wrong and why:

Among the reasons as to why the Capital FM Breakfast co-host is ready to face off with the management of the Serena based media house is the invasion of his privacy after being recorded live on camera under arrest over the weekend for flouting the Presidential COVID-19 health guidelines while in the bar.

Gaetano was among the victims that were rounded up by the Kampala Capital City Authority(KCCA) joint operations with the Uganda Police Force done on bars flouting the pandemic guidelines by operating beyond curfew time.

During the Capital FM radio Breakfast show which he co-hosts with Lucky Mbabazi, the former Big Brother Africa housemate has faulted NTV Uganda for invading his privacy by recording him like on the daily Luganda news bulletin while being arrested for flouting the COVID-19 health guidelines.

“I was at Zone 7 restaurant which happens to be my establishment. That's where I go sometimes to eat dinner, to meet my clients, to talk business. These people entered Zone 7 at 20 minutes after nine o'clock in the evening but remember, I'm an essential worker and I wasn't in a Bar. I was having dinner despite having a loose bottle but everyone there was social distancing and mind you I was wearing a mask. I do not mind authorities coming in and saying what you are doing is wrong but what upset me were the cameras. You can not be a private business and you come in to invade another private business and therefore I will sue NTV for character and business assassination," said Gaetano Juuko Kaggwa.
