Beloved media personality, Faridah Nakazibwe, has teased her fans with the possibility of a major comeback to television as she’s been overwhelmed by fans urging her to return to the small screen.

“I know many of you have been reaching out to me, asking when I’ll be back on TV,” Nakazibwe shared during the New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Kampala Serena Hotel. “I will be back soon.”

While she didn’t spill all the tea on her plans, the announcement sparked excitement among fans eager to see her back in action.

Nakazibwe stepped away from her 17-year career at NTV Uganda in September 2023, citing the need to focus on her family and personal life. Joining the station in 2006, she quickly became a household name as the Luganda news anchor for NTV Akawungeezi and the charismatic host of Mwasuze Mutya.

Her emotional farewell on September 27, 2023, left fans wondering what was next. In her absence, Ruth Kalibbala Bwanika took the reins as a temporary host.

Why She Left

The reasons behind Nakazibwe’s departure sparked speculation, with fans and insiders attributing it to the grueling demands of her schedule and her desire to explore personal projects.

Now, with her potential return on the horizon, fans are buzzing with anticipation. Will Nakazibwe reclaim her spot as a leading media figure? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure—her comeback is bound to be grand.
