Edward Kaziba's side SC Villa have on Monday 5th October, 2020 announced new signing of striker Derrick Ssekiranda.
The 24 year old, nicknamed "Da Lima" is conversant with both legs and comes in with the vast experience got at his former sides Proline Academy, KCCA U17, Jolly Stars FC, Kayosa SC, KJT and very recently with Mengo United.
The club posted on the Facebook page to clarify on the development..
"Forward, Derrick Ssekiranda has joined the Jogoo ranks. He joins us having built his profile with Proline Academy, KCCA U17, Jolly Stars FC, Kayosa SC, KJT and very recently with Mengo United."

He joins new additions like winger Nsereko Mohammed, defender Nasser Lukwago, striker Ogwang Isaac, forward Ssenoga Muhammad Kaggwa, Goalkeeper Martin Ssenkooto, midfielder Oyirwoth Goffin, left full back Kiwanuka Andrew and goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige.
SC Villa finished third on the table last season with 46 points from 13 wins, 7 draws and 5 losses and will be looking to winning a record 17th league trophy ahead of the new season 2020/2021.
They last won a league trophy in 2004 under the stewardship of Serbian tactician Milutin "Micho" Sredojević.
