As the kick off date for the Star Times Uganda Premier League draws nearer (17th October,2020), four time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC have announced the arrival of Davis Ssali a former Tooro United player.

The pacey right winger has signed a three year contract with the Sam Ssimbwa coached team that will keep him at the club till 2023.

The club made the announcement via it's social platforms... "We are delighted to announce the signing of 𝑺𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒊 𝑫𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒔 on a 3️⃣ year deal from Tooro United FC."

His arrival means he's the third acquisition after they lured the services of former KCCA midfielder Jackson Nunda and goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo who terminated his three year contract with the Maroons.

Ssali Davis will compete for a starting berth at the flanks with usual suspect Joachim Ojera who impressed last season.

The team also recently named Henry Mayeku -a long time employee at the club, as the new club CEO to fill the void left by Ivan Kakembo who was relieved of his duties last year.

URA FC finished 5th last season with 40 points from 10 wins, 10 draws with 5 losses and are looking for a better performance next season.
