The latest coming on the Blizz news desk indicates how Hon. Judith Nalule Nabakooba, the Minister for Information, Communication and Technology has suspended the controversial Art laws that were passed by the Uganda Communications Commission.
UCC had passed the stringent Art laws in a move of regulating the local creative industry and have of recent been unanimously defied by the members in the arts industry.
The development has been reached following a successful engagement by the top members of the National Union of Creative and Performing Artists with Hon. Judith Nabakooba thereby petitioning their dissatisfaction against the unfair laws against the industry that needs government intervention in order to be repelled.
