Uganda Police arrested over 30 people from a Sauna in Nansana after being found enjoying the sauna, lodge services and alcohol, all banned by the presidential directives issued in March to stem the spread of Covid-19.
The arrested were found in and around Makutano Hotel and Police found sauna, bar and lodge operating as usual.
Police and other security operatives were tipped off about certain activities that were taking place in a Kampala hangout recently. Police raided the place and arrested all those that were found in a club Sauna. They will soon face charges over disobedience.
Though it’s the right thing to get them arrested, many Ugandans are still unbothered about the virus and are still continuing to roam around.
