Rick Ross to Perform Live at the Uganda Benefit Concert in Kampala

MayBach Music Group boss Rick Ross is going to be performing live in Kampala during the Uganda Benefit Concert.

Following government of Uganda’s health regulations, CTI AFRICA brings a Post COVID-19 event dubbed the Uganda Benefit Concert featuring Rick Ross of ; a concert to support health workers in Kampala Uganda.

As an appreciation to health workers for their hard work, perseverance and sacrifices that they made to ensure the wellbeing of each citizen across the country, the Uganda Benefit Concert aims to appreciate and celebrate them while giving them support to do more.  The concert will also have a lineup of several Ugandan and African artists.

“The Uganda Benefit Concert is designed to celebrate and re-ignite the Ugandan Spirit, the culture and most importantly to share hope” – David Mihigo, Head of Marketing and Partnerships CTI AFRICA, the main promoter.

Rick Ross is a rapper and entrepreneur who was the first artist signed to P. Diddy's Ciroc Entertainment. He founded his own music label, Maybach Music Group, in 2009. Rick Ross is a five time Grammy Award Nominee and his Gold Rose song featuring Drake was nominated as Best Hip Hop song in the 2020 Grammy Awards.

The concert is jointly produced by Uganda’s top promoters Swangz Avenue, Talent Africa and Malembe. “After everything Uganda and the rest of the world has battled for the past couple of months,

He goes on to add that those in attendance should expect an evening of great entertainment. “Health workers are the biggest contributors as to why we are able to be here, we thought it's about time that they got recognized for their sacrifice. The Uganda Benefit concert has been in plan for the past couple of months and through the power of entertainment social change can be achieved.

“As we all know, music is the strongest form of magic. We've come together to create this event as a way of expressing how much the health care workers mean to us as a country. The fight against COVID-19 is still on, but we want to encourage the health workers to fight on and definitely the victory calls for one of the biggest celebrations in Uganda. The event is going to be one of a kind"- Aly Allibhai Talent Africa Group.
