An insider from the Serena Based NTV Uganda has shockingly revealed the real salary all top employees get including news anchors and Da Beat presenters.
According to exclusive info Blizz Uganda received, the Managing Director of NTV Uganda pays all employees the salary we are about to reveal to you.
Johnson Omollo, the current Managing Director of NTV Uganda is paid UGx. 50Million as his monthly gross salary and ever since he was promoted to the top job in 2017, his salary goes up every year but for the journalists at the station, it’s just a promotion in the title with a 5% increase in salary unlike the MD who keeps topping 25% on his salary every year.
The frontline soldiers earn UGx 1Million monthly and this comes after six months work without pay as the station hides behind training the reporter and among the high earners include;
- Andrew Kabuura who doubles as the Sports Editor.
- Faridah Nakazibwe the head of “Akawungeezi”
- Josephine Karungi and Frank Walusimbi.
Faridah Nakazibwe is paid UGx 5Million without NSSF and taxes. This comes along with free manicure and pedicure, free food, transport and wardrobe restricted to work duties.
Also apparently, only Daggy Nyce has a contract among the hosts of NTV the Beat and he receives UGx. 900,000 free of tax and NSSF monthly.
Lynda Ddane and Sammy Wetala earn UGx 50,000 per show they host, free transport and makeup from the company.
