Top TV has scrapped the 'Cocktail' morning TV show off air after succumbing to too much pressure from the public and stake holders following a recent incident where the hosts unprofessionally embarrassed a guest hence attracting sharp public criticism.

This followed a demeaning and embarrassing way in which Joan Lule, one of the hosts of the show shockingly turned her guns at a guest, the reigning Miss Uganda World by shouting at her and almost going bare knuckles with the calm and soft spoken beauty queen as she demanded an apology for assaulting her.

Though Joan Lule and Top TV publicly issued a public apology to Oliver Nakakande, Miss Uganda Foundation and the viewers at large, its reported that the Top Media management saw it worthwhile to scrap the controversial "Cocktail" show off air as they continue handling the issue within the internal mechanisms, company human resource policy and Disciplinary Code respectively.

Rumours had it that Top Media also risked revoking the Television's operating license by UCC, the national broad cast regulator after piling a lot of pressure on it for immediate action.
