The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has suspended Mukama Nayamba manufacturing factory in Gulu after it was found manufacturing the herbal drink under unhygienic conditions.
“Products manufactured in Gulu found labeled as ‘manufactured in Kabwohe’. Gulu facility has no certification permit and products manufactured in Gulu are illegally bearing the Qmark.
Operations suspended,” UNBS said on its official Facebook page. The drink has been touted as herbal on both radio and TV adverts.
